CD-Recorder Speed

Writing a compact disc requires intensive use of system resources. CD
recording is a real-time process which must occur at a constant speed. One of the speed
factors if the speed at which the CD-Recorder can write. You will need to
coordinate this with the transfer rate capability of your hard disk. The following
table summarizes the possible speed options for CD-ROM (not all speeds will be
available on all CD-Recorders) and the data transfer rates required at these
speeds:
